Course was in decent shape. Greens were punched prior to us playing so they didn’t roll great as you would expect. Driving range was ok. We played as a 3 some and they forced our 3rd to ride with the single we were paired with. And they had plenty of carts so I really disliked that policy. It would keep me from going back unless I had a full group of four or just 2.
Fun course in the start of winter.
Nice Layout. Putting was fast this time . Greens good, fairway good, bunkers wet. Stay out of those, ugh. Crowded. Marshall came around cart lady also. Golf etiquette missing from the group behind us. One note, Tee boxes left with broken tees most all Tee holes.
Golfed there 3 times in the last 2 weeks. To start the goods are. The greens play really well and all three cart ladies were extremely nice. The bads are game play is crazy slow. It took 5 hours to play 16 holes the first round. Second round wasn’t bad. 3 round took 5 and a half hours to play the full 18 holes. The range and tee boxes are trash. They need to be regraded. At least 6 tee boxes the ball was either way above your feet or below your feet. The range does not look like it has ever been graded. divots are everywhere. And at least 10 of the golf balls in the range bucket were broke. For the price fossil creek charges it should be a lot better.
Nicely maintained and nice facilities. Available for weddings. Course challenging with lots of water and creeks. Rate of play was slow with a group dragging their feet in front of us. We let a couple groups play through and there was still groups stacking up. The Boat House is nice.
Day after Christmas snagged a mid morning tee time. Check in, desk attendant not friendly (not hostile, just not friendly). Takes money and tells me our three are with a solo fourth, to whom he gave my cart. So had to go find that guy on the range and can’t golf with my dad. Also apparently a 30+ minute delay due to frost but had to find out second hand from someone on the range. Not worth $90+. I live 2 miles away and won’t be back. Shame, course is in good shape.

This golf course has a beautiful course layout and scenery .
The exterior of the club house is poor ,
But the inside,such as the restroom is clean and well organized ,
The practice range is wide and long ,
However the golf cart is old and some car windows are broken
But staff is kindly
I enjoyed play here
I expected more from the course, based off green fees. Thoroughly disappointed to say the least. Course has poor drainage! No grass on the range and it’s not winter yet. Great layout, but aesthetics will have you wishing you would’ve selected another track. Definitely not worth the money, at this time.
As a wedding planner, I loved working with the team at Golf Club Fossil Creek for a wedding in early October 2023. Halea was amazing during the planning process - she was always prompt with her responses to my many emails! The venue looked stunning upon our arrival on the wedding day, staff was super attentive throughout the full event time, bartenders were wonderful, and all guests had a great time!
